This ornament was done by Reeves / Breyer for the National The Farm Journal as a limited edition in 1999.
The back is brass with a lacy border of cut out farm animals, barns and leaves.
It is engraved:
The Farm Journal Limited Edition Holiday ornament for 1999 has been created from an original archival illustration from the December 1933 edition of the Farm Journal.
The front has a round 2 3/8 inch porcelain insert medallion with a color picture of a family cutting down their Christmas Tree.
There is a father and mother and two children.
It says The
Farm Journal
in red lettering at the top.
Above that in smaller black lettering it says
NATIONAL.
There is a red ribbon for hanging the ornament.
The green box contains grey sponge to protect the ornament.
The ornament was removed from the box only for photograph and inspection.
